We dedicated this gallery to Christopher
Appoldt Photography. Chris
was looking to capture German Shepherd Dogs performing the
many jobs they do for Popular Dog Series Magazine. To help
Chris,
Bob of HVK9 drove
in from Pine Bush NY with Xano, Eros, Lexi, Eco, & Anya.
We also used our HVK9
dogs Arko, Neiko & Asha. The photos Chris
captured of the dogs were, family pet, search and rescue,
narcotics detection, explosive detection, therapy dog, and
portraits of the dogs. We had a great time working with Chris
and explaining the difference between show, sport, and the
working German Shepherds Dogs breed at HVK9.

Appoldt is a professional photographer that has the skill
to capture the true beauty of a person, object, and situation.
His breath taking photographs resulted in 90% (367) photos
that will be submitted for the magazine. We couldn’t
ask for better photos of our dogs and thank Chris
for the opportunity to work with him. It's great to work with

Volume 16, page 121. This is a full page photo of Harry and
Lexi performing a SAR/Tracking scenario under the “WORKING
